Many of us reach a point where we find ourselves standing at a crossroads - ready to make a profound and meaningful change in our lives because we cannot continue in the same old way anymore.

This is the Path of the Rainbow Warrior.

The Rainbow Warrior Program, an ancient mystery school is founded in the Twisted Hair Lineage of Wisdom, Teachings and Ceremonies.

In this Program you will travel alongside the age-old footsteps of the Twisted Hair Elders , discovering your natural self through your own self-growth and excellence. As our Teachers have taught us and theirs before them, each Rainbow Warrior is dedicated to living and walking their life in beauty.

As in the old way of Apprenticeship, the student is guided through the first 5 major processes of personal transformation called Gateways.

Each Gateway includes 5 training weekends rich with shamanic knowledge, teachings & ceremonies rooted in the study of nature, psychology, human physiology, spirituality, science & philosophy.

Self-knowledge sets you free to be who you really are and get on with the business of designing a life of health, happiness and harmony.

THE Training Program AT A GLANCE

The Rainbow Warrior Shamanic Training Program begins in April and ends in February each year.
It includes five (2-night residential) Training Weekends.

We use a blended teaching style with an organic approach to each experience we share.

The Program will challenge you to become the student. Emptying your cup and letting go of what you think you know, makes space to discover what is genuinely true. It is a dynamic journey that requires your willingness to release all the ways you shaped yourself to fit in, conform, and belong.

With each training weekend we venture ever deeper into exploration of the ancient Medicine Wheels. Each day includes teachings, group activities & exercises, interactive & exploratory discussion, body-mind-heart integration techniques, personal reflection time, powerful ancient ceremonies, storytelling & sharing, techniques of discipline, tools for application & more.

The Rainbow Warrior Program consists of Five Gateways, after which you become eligible for Rainbow Lodge as a Senior Apprentice to further your leadership training.

Although the Rainbow Warrior path becomes a way of life for many students, there is no expectation of committing to all five years or beyond.

So how do I become a Rainbow Warrior?

STEP 1: LET'S TALK

If enrolling as a Rainbow Warrior calls to your spirit and touches your heart, then let's arrange to meet in person or by video-chat.
This Program is rooted in the Old Way of Apprenticeship, which means you enter into an agreement with yourself, spirit and your teacher.
Due to the depth and nature of this Program we only take a limited number of new students each year.
We believe it's important to meet with everyone, sit 'face to face' and feel whether we are a good fit for one another.

Sacred Journeys - Shamanic Training Centre reserves the right to accept selected students each year.

STEP 2: ENROL

Once you have been accepted into the Program, you will receive the Rainbow Warrior Enrolment details.
Payment of your non-refundable Enrolment Fee of R2,000 ensures your place is secured.

STEP 3: PREPARE

Once enrolled, you will receive all the information you need to be fully prepared to embark on this Rainbow Warrior Journey.

Each Gateway includes five residential Training Weekends, each one containing specific teachings, ceremonies and skills focused on the these major learning arena's:

‘Our Children’s Planet’

guides us into healing and deepening our connection to Grandmother Earth. The focus is to stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution.

‘The Song of the Universe’

opens our hearts to hear this song of creation, singing to us of the unseen mysteries of our existence. The focus is to become co-creators of beauty and excellence in harmony with the universe.

‘Our
Identity'

takes us on a journey into our Self, shining the light in the dark so we can see ourselves for who we truly are. The focus is to own our weaknesses and turn them into strengths.

‘The Human Luminosity’

teaches us about energy and the Shamanic Healing Paradigm. The focus is on evolving into healthy & harmonious humans, both in physical form & in our energy signature.

‘Journey of Cycles’

features an in-depth exploration of the Star Maiden’s Circle, a teaching we call the Philosopher’s Stone. The focus is on converting dysfunctional patterns and cycles into an empowered productive way of life.

CEREMONIAL GATEWAY - WEEKLONG

Our year-long journey comes to completion at our annual Ceremonial Gateway Gathering in March.
All Rainbow Warrior Students & Apprentices come together in support of themselves, one another & the collective.
Each Apprentice steps into Ceremonial components that bring integration of their current training & initiates their transition into their next Gateway.

In this first year of training, the intent is to help the student focus on developing a strong and healthy relationship with themselves first, then with life and others.

The student initiates the transformational process by healing the wounds of the past and reclaiming their unique naturalness as they awaken the healer and warrior within.

Meeting Death as an Ally

The intent of the second year is to initiate the student into apprenticeship as they focus on identifying and removing the unnatural parts of themselves.

The Apprentice learns to confront their resistance to change, make death an ally and gain more health, humour, hope and harmony in their lives.

In the third year the Apprentice focuses on erasing remnants of self-pity, emptying their cup of the past and becoming more aware of themselves ad the moment.

Controlling the Dream

The fourth year helps the Apprentice make a conscious choice to create a life where they can learn to touch self, life and others with beauty.

This year is designed to help the Apprentice overcome their karmic ego and birth their dharmic ego as they find the determination to live with greater passion and purpose as the Warrior.

The intent of the fifth year is for the Apprentice to step into the leadership of their own life. This year opens the portal for the Apprentice to access the wisdom of their inner Elder.

They learn to assemble their world with sobriety, consciousness, honesty, integrity as they lead their lives within Sacred Law.
