As in the old way of Apprenticeship, the student is guided through the first 5 Gateways,
major processes of personal transformation.
Each Gateway includes 5 unique themes, each one rich with shamanic knowledge, teachings & ceremonies rooted in the study of nature, psychology, human physiology, spirituality, science & philosophy.
These Gateways provide an alchemical process designed to strip away unproductive beliefs and behaviours and uncover the True Nature Spirit Personality of the Student.
As a Rainbow Warrior, you will get to know your true self.
Self-knowledge sets you free to be who you really are and get on with the business of designing a life of health, happiness and harmony.
This Shamanic Training Program is for those who are ready to become the student.
Emptying your cup and letting go of what you think you know, makes space to discover what is genuinely true.
It is available both ONLINE (Raven Lodge) and IN-PERSON (Bear Lodge).
Raven Lodge is an ONLINE Shamanic Course of Study.
This is a journey into the world of mystery and magick. It is a portal for personal, ancestral, inter-generational and collective healing and maturation.

The ONLINE Tipi is a strong container of learning and support to test, challenge and hone the Rainbow Warrior within you. In these 90-minute gatherings Weaving Willow guides you through each of the seven chapters, deepening your understanding of the content and offering you a space to share, learn, support and grow together.

Pod Check-Ins provide a more immersive experience, allowing you to spend quality time with Weaving Willow and a small group of no more than 5 other students. This helps you ask any questions you have, gain a deeper understanding of the content, experience other perspective from the pod and seamlessly integrate the HomePlay Guide and the Medicine Wheels into your life.
Bear Lodge is an IN PERSON Shamanic Training Program.
The Bear is not only the keeper of the dream but also has an intimate relationship with the sacred waters of life.
To begin your shamanic training, the first place of healing needs to happen in the heart.
The bear helps us to lighten up and flow with how we feel, so our hearts can connect to the infinite expression of life.
The Medicine Wheel Teachings and Ceremonies you encounter here awakens the bear medicine within.
You journey through five residential training weekends each with it's own unique theme.
The theme, intent and teachings that have been curated for each training weekend set a strong container, with enough flexibility for organic exploration - the perfect marriage of structure and spontaneity to birth the experience needed in the moment.
Under the auspices of the Twisted Hairs Lineage, the impact of this training stretches beyond just what happens in the physical, its impact reaches out into the collective, for ancestral and inter-generational healing, growth and evolution.
This dynamic program provides an extensive toolbox filled with teachings, exercises, ceremonies and techniques for self discipline and personal excellence.
Your year-long journey comes to completion with an invitation to attend Ceremonial Gateway.
This is a gathering of Rainbow Warriors in the primal Mgwahumbe Valley, KwaZulu Natal, where we come together in community, spend quality time with nature and dance our prayers for healing, growth and enlightenment for self, life and others to the Tree of Life.
Students from Raven Lodge, Bear Lodge, Wolf Lodge, Eagle Lodge and Rainbow Lodge come from all over the world to attend this annual weeklong Ceremonial Gateway.

This is a weeklong residential experience, held off the grid in an ancient valley in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
All Rainbow Warrior Students & Apprentices are invited to come together in support of themselves, one another & the collective.
Each Apprentice steps into Ceremonial components that bring integration of their current training & initiates their transition into their next Gateway.

We believe it's important to meet with everyone, sit 'face to face' and feel whether we are a good fit for one another before you enrol.
This Program is rooted in the Old Way of Apprenticeship, which means you enter into an agreement with yourself, spirit and your teacher.
Due to the depth and nature of this Program we only take a limited number of new students each year.
Sacred Journeys - Shamanic Training Centre reserves the right to accept selected students each year.
This is done by moving through the following Lodges:
Raven Lodge is our 12-month ONLINE training program and includes teachings from Bear Lodge.
Bear Lodge includes students who are in their first and second year of training.
Wolf Lodge is for committed Rainbow Warrior students in their third year of training.
They have completed their First and Second Gateway Ceremonies.
Eagle Lodge is for committed Rainbow Warrior students in their fourth and fifth year of training. They have completed their First, Second and Third Gateway Ceremonies.
As infinite as the cosmos, our journey into autonomy and self-leadership has no finality. Sighting a rainbow elicits joy, awe and the inspiration to fulfil our dreams. With no greater dream than actualizing our potential, Rainbow Lodge takes us on a journey of self-mastery while remaining the eternal student.
Rainbow Warrior Graduates who have completed all Five Gateway Ceremonies become eligible for Rainbow Lodge as Senior Apprentices.
Each Gateway takes one year to complete and prepares you for the major transitional ceremonies that are facilitated at the Ceremonial Gateway Weeklong in March.
Raven Lodge and Bear Lodge provide the teachings and ceremonies to prepare you for the First and Second Gateway Ceremonies.
Wolf Lodge provides the teachings and ceremonies to prepare you for the Third Gateway Ceremony.
Eagle Lodge provides the teachings and ceremonies to prepare your for the Fourth and Fifth Gateway Gateway Ceremonies.
